Preface of the Dhaka City-


The preface of the Dhaka city is very famous and from 1608 to 1704 it served as a capital of Mughal. More than 400 years old the history is beard by this city. Before the British rule in 1765 it was a trading center for British, French and Dutch colonist. In 1905 it was renamed the capital of Bengal and in 1956 it became the part of Pakistan. During the time of Pakistan it was the capital of East Pakistan. In 1971 the war of independence this city saw a heavy damage. After the war Dhaka became the capital of Bangladesh.

Dhaka city is very famous why?


Dhaka is very famous with mosques, Lalbagh Fort, Bahadur Shah Park, Dhaka University, Dhaka Medical college, Dhaka Zoo, National Museum, Botanical Garden, National Park, Shahid Minar (Martyred yard), Public Library, National Poet’s Graveyard, Suhrawardy-Uddyan (Garden),  Ramna Park, Parliament House, Science Museum, National Memorial, etc.

Present situations of Dhaka city-


Now a day Dhaka city has gone under living. Day by day the city is going imbalanced by industrial waste, men made waste, etc.  Most of the time Road are on jam. City Corporation or Govt. can’t take the proper steps to remove the problem from the root. Rehabilitation facility is gone under way. Wrong infrastructural plan and lengthy decision making policy increase pressure on the city. Sewerage condition of this city is very bad. In rainy season many roads of the city are gone hazardous condition. Every day most of the roads of this city are on traffic jam by rickshaws and car. Only 70 thousand registered rickshaws are in Dhaka city. But there have more than 5 to 6 lucks rickshaws everyday stay on road. Footpaths of the city are ousted by influential person and for this reason citizens are suffered very much. Every day the number of people is increasing. For the job opportunity many are coming in this city and increase the city size. City size is increased but city facilities are not increased. Actually this is the real fact of this bad situation.
Some of the places of the Dhaka city are well planned and there have no scope to stay for poor man. That is not good for democracy. All the citizens want equality for good health, proper education, proper habilitation, proper food and proper facility to lead their life. But there have no enough facility in Dhaka city for all citizens.

Conclusion

To remove the problem from Dhaka city Govt. should take proper steps and plans and apply them well. If Govt. take a program to create more work place out of Dhaka city and take important role of govt. work out of Dhaka this situation can decrease. Dependency on Dhaka city will be decreasing day by day to remove the problem of Dhaka city. There have no alternative way like this...
