Hatir Jheel is an attraction of Bangladeshi People. In the over populated jam city Dhaka, Hatir Jheel is a special place for walking. Bangladesh Army and Special Works Organization (SWO) build this area for minimizing traffic congestion. It is a popular recreational spot for people of Bangladesh.

Hatir Jheel Project has been built on a lake. Several bridges, tree plantation on the side of the lake, canal gate of the lake make this place more beautiful. Water flow to the canal gate and facility of pumping keep lake water clean. There are several decorated bridges, footpath, siting facility here and there. At evening when all the light on then Hatir Jheel shows us real beauty of heaven. Different lighting effects make a different look of this lake. There are several fly over bridges that make this place more beautiful and mostly remove jam of Dhaka city. Every day thousands of visitors visit this spot to get refreshment. Hatir Jheel is a Natural beauty made by man. This lake side shows our national creativity for life. Hatir Jheel gives us cool and quite thinking to lead our next generation.
